Rene “Butch” Meily
President
Butch Meily is President of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors for more than a decade. He is a Managing Director of Pacific Advisors LLC, a private equity and advisory firm. Before joining Pacific Advisors, Butch was First Vice President and Special Assistant to the Chairman of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), the largest business group in the Philippines with affiliates in electricity, water, toll roads, hospitals and mining. He also served as President of the PLDT Smart Foundation from 2008 to 2010. In 2004, he was seconded to the Philippine Ambassador to the United States as Advisor on Outsourcing.
